This year's crop of young player's represents
the best group of players we've seen and
heard about. These kids are stronger, faster
and play better baseball than most of the
players we've seen before. It is obvious the
training and commitment on behalf of these
player's is really paying off. Take this golden

Every year brings the prospect of finding the
next superstar with that "can't miss" tag. This
7 day event provides a great chance to meet the
players up close and find out if they have what
it takes to perform at the major league level.

What better way to find what your looking for
than to see them first hand.

Great chance to see how the players
handle the pressure of playing in the
spotlight. See the players interact and
observe how good they are on and off
the field. Are they good teammates?
Do they hustle when it matters most?
Do they do the little things well? Back
up throws? Lay down the sacrifice?
Get the key hit with two outs to drive
in the run? Come on down and see
the things you can't see in a box score.

Recharge your batteries and take in a relaxing
evening watching a major league game. Our
week-long event gets off to a major league
start with an Opening Ceremony parade on
the field at Tropicana Field, the home of the
Major League Baseball Tampa Bay Rays.
Prior to the Major League baseball game
between the Tamp Bay Devil Rays and a
MLB Team, all players in uniform will be
allowed on the field and enjoy a parade
around the field.

is intriguingly innovative, incorporating
baseball traditions throughout the dining,
shopping and entertainment complex
Observe players from all teams participate in
one of three challenges. This is one of the
highlights as you will enjoy seeing kids
perform in the Home Run Derby, Around
the Horn and 1st to 3rd Speed Challenge

or other unforseen circumstances.
Our Skills Assessment Center will feature
the latest in baseball technology. The Center
will offer players a report card styled look at
their skills and provide the training tools
needed to take their game to the next level.
Great chance to meet up with your
colleagues and get caught up on what's
been happening. Whether it's at the Ray's
game or at the Devil Ray's minor league
spring training complex where the games
are being played, you'll see your fellow
scouts and have a chance to play catch-up.

Our tourney features pool play for the first
4 days and then the next two feature a
round robin to determine the final four teams.
